Different Types of Video Tutorials
There are different types of video tutorials that you can follow online on your desktop or even on your mobile. Some of the most common ones include:
- ✔️ Tutorial videos: These videos provide step-by-step instructions on how to do something. They are typically used to teach new skills or complete complex tasks.
- ✔️ Explainer videos: These videos explain a concept or product in a clear and concise way. They are often used to introduce new products or services to potential customers.
- ✔️ How-to videos: These videos show how to do something, without necessarily providing step-by-step instructions. They are often used to demonstrate a product or service in action.
- ✔️ Screencasts: These videos record the user’s screen while they are performing a task. They can be used to provide tutorials or to demonstrate how to use a software program.

- ✔️ Live-action videos: These videos feature real people performing a task or explaining a concept. They can be more engaging than other types of video tutorials, but they can also be more expensive to produce.
- ✔️ Animated videos: These videos use animation to explain a concept or product. They can be more engaging than other types of video tutorials, but they can also be more time-consuming to produce. Examples are AI Spokespersons and AI Generated Speakers.
The type of video tutorial that you choose for AI Learning on demand will depend on the purpose of the video and the target audience. For example, if you look for a tutorial for a complex task, you will need to to get step-by-step instructions. However, if you are looking for a tutorial for a simple task, you may be able to be satisfied with a more general explanation.
No matter what type of video tutorial you are following, it has to clear, concise, and if possible visually engaging, although that is not always necessary.
And that is also why I personally use them a lot for my own fast learning and relevant lifelong learning as a substitue for traditional long and expensive programmes and why we also use them in Ai Learning for different customers in FinTech & RegTech, in Compliance and in AI in Financial Services in general.
