What Is An AI-Powered Virtual Organisation?
One of the great myths from the Industrial Revolution and in the old wrld of dinosaur model and methods is that your organisation has to grow into a bulky large organisation, a ‘Fat Firm’, with many management layers if you attract and have to serve more customers.
In our current time of the Internet, fast bandwidth and smartphones and especially with easy to use and inexpensive AI, that is actually no longer the case. Why? You can grow and scale with an AI-Powered virtual organisation as new Lean & mean AI-powered organisational design for any existing or new company and other type of organisation.
Just like on the AI-generated picture of a young business professional, sitting in the parc next to the museum of the Louvre in Paris (see the picture above this post). He is working online, in his case working remotely, with his laptop and smartphone.
What that is? Here is my definition.
An AI-powered virtual organisation is an AI-powered organisational form characterized by the absence of a shared physical space. The organisation members work together through telecommunication. Particularly as a result of the rise of the internetand even more the democratization of AI, the feasibility of AI-powered virtual organisational forms with low organisational costs increased sharply.

Formal and informal AI-powered virtual organisations.
It should be noted here that it can be a formal or an informal AI-powered virtual organisation as organisational design including as AI-powered organisational design. Many companies became a kind of virtual organisation after the start of the Covid-19 pandemic in 1 day because of local lockdowns and everybody had to start to work from home. And think of all the informal organisational forms/organizational designs of AI-powered virtual organisations like groups on LinkedIn, on Facebook or on other social media platforms and online platforms.
